The Compassion House CDC food pantry functions like a regular grocery store. Clients can move through the space with shopping carts and select the items they'd like off the shelves.

Join us for nutritious hot breakfasts and bagged lunches.

KITCHEN HOURS:

Search through gently used clothing, furniture, toys, books and household goods, and take anything you like!

Alcoholics Anonymous

"The Bushwick Meeting"

The Compassion House CDC seeks to support our community members who suffer from alcoholism by hosting twice weekly AA meetings.

AA Meetings:

Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:00pm-9:30pm

We are blessed to have a large facility with over 25,000 square feet of space including a sanctuary/chapel, a large community space, a commercial kitchen, a fully-equipped dining hall, offices, a parking facility and raw space for productions.

While we freely provide space for community events and outreach, we also accept donations for space usage for events that align with our core vision and afford our organization the ability to continue to offer quality programs so vital to the under-served in our community.

The CHCDC partners with other NFP agencies to provide our clients referrals for social services including housing, employment, health (vision and mammogram screening), ESL and other educational and employment- readiness preparation. We work extensively with our network of affiliates so that we are able to provide comprehensive One Stop services to encourage self-sufficiency and to mitigate inter-generational poverty.
